I used a duplicate stitch to do this. It took me all day. Excepting lunch, dinner, dishes, and a frenzied attempt to find the power cord of my friend’s sewing machine in a loaded closet. (It was behind a stack of tubs by the very back wall.) I’m so glad I found it. Whew!
I only got one done. This is sure going to take a long time.
I have decided to knit fingerless mittens for four little boys. They will be black and I will double stitch a Death Star, a tiec, R2D2, and a storm trooper face on each pair.
I really liked this pattern. I’m really going to get more into lace I think.
I finally finished the second one. This is the arden pattern on ravelry. I am making some progress on Christmas gifts. Yay!
I took this photo a couple of days ago. Then I decided I should really work on it. I finished the first one today.
Back and Front.
The pattern is called arden, a free pattern on Ravelry. I cut the pattern short, I only repeated the pattern 4 times instead of 6. It’s supposed to go up to the elbows, but I made it to go only go up halfway.
I’m making these for Christmas presents. It’s the Winding Way Mitts pattern on Ravelry. I’m pretty excited to do it. However, I think that I need to print out this chart because I’m already running into problems. Plus I spilled my cup of tea that was next to me… and I couldn’t even feasibly blame it on the kids.
