I promised my aunt a hat… a while ago. She requested these colors. 🙂 It’s like the red hat society. It should be done within the next week, depending on how my children behave and if I can knit while they’re awake or if I have to do it when they are asleep.
I went to the local yarn store today. I haven’t been to the store … wow… since before I was married and that was like almost 4 years ago. It changed a lot. But I found this skein of yarn and I never knew how much you could really like yarn until I saw this one. It’s Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop, color: Bright Spot. I think I’ll make myself a hat out of it. It’s so soft. I just want to bury my face in it.
Yarn and bookbag… presents from my mommmmmyyyyyyyyy
a baton holder and pillows…
a stand so I can practice at home… and a guitar!
a table to eat on… so I don’t spill soup all over my bed, and an
empty Pride and Prejudice… which now holds all my notecards
a purse from Africa, the sale of which fed a family for half a month…
and my cousin’s artwork inspired by doors
I never feel like I deserve any of this. Praise God for awesome relatives.
I found this yarn on clearance at Michael’s.
I’m thinking something to wear for the blue; and for the white, I’m not sure yet.
a scarf, commissioned by one of my friends at school.
I had so much trouble trying to figure out how to sew it in the end so that it would look ok.
I don’t think it’s exactly how the pattern said to do it, but I think it looks pretty good.
